A young trader identified as Beatrice Afful has reportedly died after she was knocked down by a vehicle on the Kumasi-Bibiani stretch while returning home from Kumasi. According to a report by Dunkwa TV on September 15, 2026, Beatrice, a resident of the Sefwi Akontombra District in the Western North Region, had travelled to Kumasi to replenish her stock after exhausting the items she previously had for sale.
