How suspected phone thief swallowed five SIM cards during arrest on Kasoa-Bawjiase Highway

A suspected mobile phone thief swallowed five SIM cards at the point of his arrest, the Central East Regional Police Commander, DCOP Francis Nchor, has said. According to the Police Commander, the suspect, 27-year-old Awudu Baba, was arrested at a police checkpoint on the Kasoa-Bawjiase Highway at about midnight on September 19, 2026.
