‘I beat you guys’ – Davido teases with Wike in Abuja [VIDEO]

Daily Post about 3 hours 1 mins read

A video clip capturing the moment Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, teased the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, over the outcome of the Osun State governorship election has gone viral.

In the 16-second clip, Davido was heard telling Wike that he defeated the All Progressives Congress, APC, government.

“But I won. I beat you guys,” Davido told Wike when he accompanied his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, to the minister’s residence in Abuja.

Responding to the singer’s remark, Wike jokingly said he would collect Adeleke’s Certificate of Return, triggering laughter among those present.

DAILY POST reports that Adeleke visited Wike shortly after a closed-door meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the State House in Abuja.
