‘I met Tinubu's classmates’ - Education Minister Alausa

Daily Post about 3 hours 1 mins read

The Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa, has defended the academic record of President Bola Tinubu at Chicago State University, insisting the President graduated with a first class in accounting.

Alausa made this assertion during an interview on Channels Television while responding to questions about the President's educational qualifications.

The minister stated that he lived in Chicago for almost 30 years and has visited Chicago State University many times, and he personally met many people who studied with Tinubu.

"I'm telling you hardcore facts. I lived in Chicago for almost 30 years. I've been to that university so many times," Alausa said.

Alausa described Tinubu as a genius, stressing that Nigerians should not debate the intellectual capacity of the President.

"He's a genius. Let's not talk about the capability of this President. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is literally a genius," he said.

DAILY POST reports that President Tinubu's Chicago State University certificate has been a subject of public debate since the 2023 presidential election.
