‘I was asked to bring all my dollars, gold I had’ — Bo Hairs recounts

Daily Post about 2 hours 2 mins read

Popular businesswoman, Bo Hairs has recounted how armed robbers invaded her home at gunpoint in December last year, carting away cash, gold, luxury jewellery, watches and other valuables.

According to the businesswoman, the incident occurred while she was asleep, when one of the robbers reportedly appeared behind her nanny and forced his way into her room.

She said the robber told her that the house had been surrounded and demanded that she hand over all the dollars, foreign currencies and gold in her possession.

According to Bo Hairs, the robbers threatened to harm her and her son if she refused to cooperate.

She said she eventually handed over about $7,000 in cash, nearly ₦2 million, gold jewellery, luxury items and other valuables.

She added that the robbers later discovered two Rolex watches belonging to her and her husband.

Bo Hairs said the entire ordeal lasted less than 10 minutes, adding that her primary concern throughout the incident was the safety of her son.

The businesswoman also raised concerns about her nanny’s conduct during the robbery, saying she appeared to have known more about the movements of the armed men than she initially realised.

She said the experience left her shaken, particularly because of the threat posed to her and her son.
