“If I Date Broke Guy Earning N5,000 Monthly, He Must Be Giving Me N3,000 Out Of It” – Toke Makinwa

Nigerian media personality Toke Makinwa has said she has never been in a relationship where a man asked her for financial support.

Speaking on the topic of relationships, Toke said she is often surprised when she hears women complain about men asking them for money.

According to her, her personal experience has been the opposite. She stated that even if she dated men who are not financially well-off, they would still make an effort to provide for her within their means.

She added that she considers herself fortunate to have had such experiences, saying she has never dated a man who confidently requested money from her.

“When I hear women say these things, I sit down and I ask myself…..”Men don’t ask me for money?”Maybe there is something written on my head. Maybe before you say ….I give you all my problems. Before you ask me, I am already listing all my problems…Today I have headache,,,maybe that is why! I have never dated a guy who asked me for money.

“Even if I date a broke guy and he earns 5k, at least 3k out of that money, he will give it to me. I am thankful for that grace because I have never dated a guy who has confidently asked me for money” she said.
