Leadway Assurance,  a member of Leadway group has unveiled a short-term insurance  product to attend to the need of travellerduring the festive periods.

The product targeted to diaspora Nigerians visiting their home country during the Yuletide was lunched  in Lagos recently bringing  together key stakeholders from across the travel, lifestyle, tourism, aviation, media and financial services sectors.

At the lunch, Leadway Executive Director Retail & Partnership, Kikelomo Fischer, highlighted the growing need for flexible insurance solutions tailored to diaspora Nigerians, business travellers, tourists, students and other short-term visitors, as well as the businesses that serve them during their stay in the country.

She said the Leadway Arrival Pack was developed as a seasonal insurance solution for periods when travel, gatherings and commercial activity naturally increase.

“It is designed to give visitors and participating businesses greater confidence and peace of mind by providing protection against unexpected disruptions and risks that may arise during short-term stays in Nigeria” .

According to her traditional insurance plans are often structured around longer-term coverage, leaving individuals on brief visits with limited options for protection.

She noted that with increasing international travel, diaspora homecomings, business visits and tourism activity, the need for flexible, temporary insurance solutions has become increasingly important.

She said Leadway Assurance was addressing the gap through the Arrival Pack, offering accessible short-term coverage tailored to the realities of temporary stays.
