Investors gain direct access to Wall Street equities via Bitget Wallet and Reality

Daily Post 19 minutes 3 mins read

Bitget Wallet, a self-custodial crypto wallet used by 100 million people globally, has integrated Reality, a regulated tokenised asset issuance protocol, giving users across the world direct access to more than 1,700 tokenised US stocks and ETFs.

Through this new integration, investors across Africa gain direct exposure to top-tier equities such as Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, and Amazon, eliminating the need for international brokerage setups, fiat currency conversions, or surrendering control over their private keys.

The tokenised assets, called rTokens, are backed one-to-one by the underlying US shares, held at Alpaca Securities, a FINRA-registered, SIPC-member broker-dealer. Reserves are independently attested daily by a third-party CPA firm.

During US market hours, orders route to real Nasdaq and NYSE liquidity rather than an isolated pool of onchain trading activity, so the price a user sees reflects the actual market, not a synthetic copy of it. The integration is live now on the Arbitrum and Morph networks.

“Most users globally have had no viable path to US equity exposure, not because of lack of demand, but because the infrastructure was either inaccessible or required giving up custody,” said Alvin Kan, COO of Bitget Wallet. “Reality’s model is different: real shares, real liquidity, real dividends, and users keep control of their keys throughout. That combination is what makes this integration meaningful.”

Beyond access to equities, rTokens extend how these assets can be used once onchain. Dividends on eligible rTokens are paid directly into a user’s wallet in stablecoins. Stock splits and other corporate actions are reflected automatically, and the tokens can be used as collateral or built into other onchain applications.

“This integration with Bitget Wallet is an important step in making rTokens available across a much wider ecosystem,” said Alice Li, Head of Reality. “Through an open API, wallets, exchanges and protocols can connect directly to rToken liquidity and bring US equity exposure to their users without building the underlying infrastructure from scratch. That is how tokenized equities start to scale beyond individual platforms.”

With the exchange rate still relatively high across many African countries, stablecoins have become one of the few practical ways to hold value in dollars without a foreign bank account in the middle. The same wallet that already holds those stablecoins can now hold shares in Apple or Amazon too.

Previously, that meant a second app, carrying its own KYC process and its own brokerage account, layered on top of the wallet already in use. This new Reality integration completely bypasses those friction points. Investors maintain their primary wallet and private keys while seamlessly holding US equities right next to their current stablecoin balances.

rNVDA, rTSLA, rAAPL, rAMZN, rSPY and rQQQ are among the more than 1,700 US stocks and ETFs now available on the Bitget Wallet app. As demand for tokenized assets grows across its global user base, Bitget Wallet plans to continue expanding its asset coverage and deepen protocol integrations.
