ITH Holdings and the OED Foundation recently extended support to the Fatherless and Motherless Children Aid Organization (FACADO) in Abuja, providing financial assistance for the upkeep of vulnerable children and tuition support for 14 beneficiaries.

The intervention formed part of the organisations’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed at improving the welfare and educational opportunities of orphaned and underprivileged children.

FACADO, a faith-based orphanage founded in 2006 by Ambassador Ngozi-Anih George, provides shelter, care, education and developmental support for children between the ages of one and 19 years.

Speaking during the outreach, the Group Chief Executive Officer of ITH Holdings and Founder of OED Foundation, Olusegun Enitan Dada, said corporate organisations must move beyond symbolic gestures and embrace initiatives that create meaningful social impact.

“The true measure of leadership is not in what we build for ourselves, but in what we make possible for others. Through OED Foundation and ITH Holdings, our mission is to create opportunities that empower people to rise beyond limitations. Being here is a part of our broader commitment to building a future where every child has the chance to dream, grow, and succeed,” he said.

According to the company, the support provided will help strengthen the operational sustainability of the orphanage while easing the burden of educational expenses for the children.

The Head of Brand, Marketing and Communications at ITH Holdings, Muola Awolowo, said the visit underscored the organisation’s commitment to creating lasting impact beyond business performance.

“We believe impact goes beyond business performance. Real success is measured by the lives we touch and the opportunities we create for others. Visiting FACADO was a reminder that small acts of intentional support can create lasting change in the lives of vulnerable children. We remain committed to supporting initiatives that bring hope, dignity and opportunity to underserved communities,” Awolowo said.

Beyond the financial contribution, representatives of ITH Holdings and OED Foundation spent time interacting with the children, offering words of encouragement and support.

Expressing appreciation for the gesture, the Founder of FACADO, Ambassador Ngozi-Anih George, described the intervention as timely and impactful.

“We are deeply grateful to ITH Holdings and OED Foundation for this act of generosity and compassion. This support will go a long way in helping us sustain the care we provide and ensure these children continue to receive the education, nurturing and opportunities they deserve. Partnerships like this give us hope and remind the children that they are loved, valued and supported,” she said.

The outreach highlights the growing role of corporate organisations in supporting vulnerable communities through initiatives focused on education, welfare and social development.
