Tunisia have sacked manager Sabri Lamouchi after just one game at the World Cup.
The 54-year-old’s future was thrown into doubt following a disastrous opening match defeat against Sweden in Monterrey.
Lamouchi watched on as his side were torn apart 5-1 by the Scandinavian outfit, who cruised to a dominant victory to begin their campaign.
Following the heavy defeat, reports now claim Tunisia chiefs have acted immediately by parting ways with the former midfielder.
The decision comes after a nightmare start to the tournament for Tunisia, with supporters left furious by the performance.
With the group stage still underway, Tunisia will now have to scramble to find immediate leadership on the sidelines to salvage the remainder of their World Cup campaign.
