Harry Kane netted a brace as England began their World Cup Group L campaign with a 4-2 victory over Croatia on Wednesday.
England captain Kane had twice given his side the lead in the first half but Croatia fought back on both occasions through Martin Baturina and Petar Musa, before Jude Bellingham and Marcus Rashford ensured Thomas Tuchel’s side made a winning start.
