Kuwait intercepts Iranian missiles, drones as fresh attacks damage power infrastructure

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Kuwaiti authorities have intercepted two ballistic missiles and 13 drones launched during a fresh wave of Iranian attacks, according to the country’s state news agency.

No casualties have been reported following the interceptions, which prevented the projectiles from reaching their intended targets.

Meanwhile, Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity confirmed that shrapnel from the intercepted missiles and drones damaged several overhead power lines in different areas.

Despite the damage, the ministry said electricity supply across the country has remained stable, with no disruption to essential services.

Emergency response teams have been deployed to assess the affected infrastructure and begin repair work in coordination with security agencies.
