Jubreel Abdulkareem, Hon. Olayinka Kazeem, Hon. Samuel Apata, Hon. Sobur Oluwa and Hon. incident.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\n\n\u003Cp>A video posted on the official X account of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, on Thursday showed officials of the agency, the Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps and the police at the scene managing the aftermath of the collision.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\n\n\u003Cp>In a statement accompanying the footage, LASTMA confirmed that two people sustained injuries of varying degrees.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\n\n\u003Cp>The agency said, “A multiple-vehicle crash involving two 40ft containerised trucks and three other vehicles occurred at Apostolic, inward Alapere, resulting in two reported casualties.”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\n\n\u003Cp>LASTMA added that the scene had been secured to prevent further accidents, while its personnel worked to control traffic and coordinate the removal of the vehicles.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\n\n\u003Cp>“The scene has been secured to prevent secondary incidents, while our men are on the ground to manage the situation and facilitate recovery.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\n\n\u003Cp>“The incident is currently causing a traffic backlog towards the old Toll Gate, with recovery efforts ongoing,” the agency
