LaLiga: Ejuke savours Sevilla’s away victory over Athletic Bilbao

Daily Post about 4 hours 1 mins read

Chidera Ejuke was full of excitement after helping Sevilla beat 10-man Athletic Bilbao at the Estadio San Mamés on Saturday night.

The visitors defeated Athletic Bilbao 3-1 to maintain their impressive start to the new season.

Athletic Bilbao were reduced to 10 men in the 11th minute after Yuri Berchiche was shown a red card.
Oso gave the visitors the lead four minutes later.

Ejuke made an instant impact after he was introduced early in the second half.

The winger scored Sevilla’s second goal of the game with a sublime finish in the 50th minute after being set up by Isaac Romero.

Romero got his goal to make it 3-0 seven minutes later, while Aitor Paredes reduced the deficit for the hosts in the 73rd minute.

Ejuke was happy with his contribution to the victory.

“We’re happy with the game. Six points in two games and a good team spirit.

“We’re already thinking about the next one. I always try to be available to help the team in any way I can,” Ejuke told the club’s official website.
