LaLiga: Mourinho flies to Spain to sign Real Madrid contract

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Jose Mourinho has flown to Spain to finalize his move to Real Madrid.

The 63-year-old reached a verbal agreement with Madrid president, Florentino Perez, before the club’s presidential election last weekend.

Perez’s victory over Enrique Riquelme, means Mourinho is set to return to the Bernabeu after 13 years.

Mourinho is expected to put pen to paper on a three-year contract before he is officially unveiled to the media.

Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, wrote on X: “José Mourinho, in Madrid today ahead of his presentation as new Real Madrid head coach on a three-year deal.”

Ahead of his arrival, Madrid have already brought in two defensive reinforcements in Ibrahima Konate and Denzel Dumfries from Liverpool and Inter Milan, respectively.
