LaLiga: Rashford set for Man Utd return as Barcelona refuses to pay €30m

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Marcus Rashford is set to return to Manchester United, after Barcelona confirmed they would not be paying the €30m buy option clause.

The England forward spent the last season on loan with the LaLiga champions.

But despite contributing 13 goals and 10 assists, Barca has opted not to trigger the option to make the move permanent.

Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, wrote on X: “Barcelona will NOT pay €30m buy option clause for Marcus Rashford, expiring in 5 days.

“Rashford formally set to return to Man United but Barça remain open to new solutions, like another loan deal.

“Barça are open to discuss again if #MUFC open doors.”
