LaLiga: Real Madrid to sell Mbappe, Vinicius as Mourinho arrives

Daily Post about 1 hour 1 mins read

Real Madrid are looking to sell one of Kylian Mbappe or Vinicius Junior this summer, with Jose Mourinho set to take over as manager.

According to L’Equipe, the LaLiga giants believe that their partnership is not working.

This is only Mbappe’s second season at the Bernabeu, after arriving as a free agent from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Frenchman enjoyed a fine debut season, scoring 44 goals across all competitions, although Los Blancos ended the campaign without silverware.

On the other hand, Vinicius has been at Madrid since 2013 and became the team’s talisman at a point.

But after failing to win the Ballon d’Or in 2024, Vinicius’ numbers and performances have appeared to dwindle.

Mourinho is, however, expected to be consulted on any possible shakeup in the squad.
