Daily Post about 1 hour 1 mins read

Real Madrid forward, Vinicius Junior, has been handed a four-match ban following his red card against Villarreal.

Vinicius Jr was introduced as a substitute in the second half of the match after Yan Diomande had given Los Blancos the lead.

The Brazilian thought he had scored his team’s second goal of the game, but an incident involving him pulling Nathan Saliba’s hair changed the course of events.

Referee Isidro Diaz de Mera reviewed the incident on the VAR monitor and subsequently sent Vinicius Jr off.

The player will now miss Madrid’s next four games including the clash against Barcelona.

All the matches Vinicius Jr will miss are: Sevilla (H), Barcelona (A), Racing Club (A) and Valencia (A).
