Lotto agent faces court over publication of false news

A 39-year-old lotto agent, Prince Aboagye, has appeared before a court for allegedly making offensive and false statements about Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, former Vice President, on TikTok. Aboagye, also the Agona West National Democratic Congress (NDC) Branch Organiser, has been charged with offensive conduct conducive to the breach of the peace and publication of false news.
