Man arrested for flogging two-year-old daughter after she failed to greet him

A man who flogged his two-year-old daughter with wire in Nigeria, leaving her with severe injuries and visible scars, has been arrested. The suspect was arrested on Thursday, August 27, 2026, after the child rsquo;s mother raised an alarm and sought help from filmmaker and human rights activist Stanley Ontop.
