Manchester City have completed the signing of Brazilian winger Allan Elias from Palmeiras in a deal worth up to £34.2 million.
The 22-year-old has signed a five-year contract with City after the Premier League champions agreed to pay an initial £32 million, with a further £2.2 million available in add-ons, BBC Sport reports.
Allan joins as a direct replacement for compatriot Savio, who left City for Tottenham Hotspur in a £75 million deal last week.
The right-sided winger made 96 appearances for Palmeiras across all competitions, scoring nine goals and providing 12 assists after progressing through the Brazilian club’s academy.
Allan, who was named the best breakthrough player in the Brazilian top flight in 2025, described the move to Manchester as the proudest moment of his career.
“This is a surreal moment for me. Manchester City, with everything they have won over the past 15 years, are one of the most attractive clubs in the world for players,” he said.
“To be able to sit here today and say I have joined them is the proudest moment of my life.”
The Brazilian said he was convinced City offered the best environment to fulfil his ambitions.
“I want to be the best footballer I can be and the conversations I’ve had with the people at City so far has convinced me there isn’t a better place for me to fulfil my ambitions.”
