Man remanded for allegedly posing as soldier and extorting from residents

The Ashaiman District Court has remanded 32-year-old Atsu Kudiabor Issaka into police custody over allegations that he posed as a soldier and extorted money from members of the public. Kudiabor was arraigned on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, after the Tema Regional Police Command charged him with falsely pretending to be a public officer, stealing and possessing a military camouflage uniform.
