Inter Miami forward, Lionel Messi, has named the two best goals of his career.
The former Argentina captain named the goal he scored for his country against France at the 2022 FIFA World Cup final, and also a goal in a Champions League final or one in El Clasico during his time at Barcelona, adding that they hold a special place in his life.
Messi, who has scored 936 goals for both club and country in his career so far, spoke to the Spanish news agency EFE in Oviedo on Thursday.
“It’s extremely hard to choose. If I had to choose two goals that hold a special place in my life, I would probably pick a goal from the 2022 World Cup final, because of what it meant.
"As for Barcelona, I might choose a goal from a Champions League final, an El Clasico, or another particularly important match," he said.
Messi recently retired from Argentina national team following the 2026 World Cup tournament which Spain won.
