Bilionea wa Tanzania na Mkurugenzi Mtendaji wa Kampuni ya Mohammed Enterprises Tanzania Limited (MeTL), Mohammed Dewji, maarufu Mo ameahidi kuwekeza Dola 250 milioni (Sh661.93 bilioni), nchini Msumbiji na ahadi ya kuajiri raia 20,000 wa nchi hiyo. Mo alitoa ahadi hiyo baada ya kukutana na Rais wa Msumbiji, Daniel Chapo mjini Maputo Jumanne ya Agosti 18, 2026, akisema mazungumzo yao yalikuwa na tija na tayari amebaini fursa kadhaa za uwekezaji nchini humo. “Tumekuwa na mazungumzo yenye tija na tumedhamiria kuwekeza Dola 250 milioni nchini Msumbiji na kuajiri watu 20,000,” amesema Mo. Hata hivyo, taarifa hiyo haikuelekeza fedha hizo zitaelekezwa katika sekta gani wala ratiba ya kuanza kwa uwekezaji huo. Kwa mujibu wa Shirika la Habari la Ureno (Lusa), taarifa iliyotolewa na Ikulu Msumbiji inaeleza ahadi iliyotolewa na Dewji inaendana na shughuli za MeTL, inafungua fursa za uwekezaji katika maeneo ya kimkakati pamoja na kuanzishwa kwa minyororo mipya ya uzalishaji, usambazaji na huduma nchini humo.
