Moment Nigeria military came under gunfire in North-East [VIDEO]

Personnel of the Nigerian Armed Forces came under intense gunfire from terrorists in the North-East.

A footage showed the Nigerian soldiers taking cover on a dusty road as an armoured vehicle is seen amid thick smoke.

At the time of filing this report, the exact location and circumstances of the reported ambush have not been independently confirmed.

The Nigerian military has been battling with insurgents in the North-East for more than a decade since the emergence of Boko Haram terrorists.

The military has also been winning the war against the terrorists with some surrendering to troops.

It will be recalled that a total of 25 terrorist family members last week surrendered to Nigerian troops in separate incidents in Borno State, amid intensified military operations against terrorist groups in the North-East.
