A video has surfaced online showing the moment thugs attacked the convoy of the Nigerian Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in Calabar, Cross River State.
The incident occurred shortly after Obi’s visit to the palace of the Obong of Calabar.
Recall that Ester Umoh, media aide to the presidential candidate, had earlier raised the alarm over an alleged attack on the campaign convoy.
Umoh disclosed the development in a statement, saying, “Thugs are trying to attack our convoy.”
