Mourinho denies making comments about Ronaldo’s future with Portugal

Real Madrid manager, José Mourinho, has denied making comments about Cristiano Ronaldo and the Portuguese Football Federation, FPF.

He dismissed the remarks being shared across social media as “fake news.”

Mourinho was reportedly linked to remarks concerning the growing tensions surrounding Ronaldo and the Portugal national team.

But Mourinho has now said: “Too much fake news on my comments about Cristiano Ronaldo and the Portuguese Federation. I did not make any comment.”

Ronaldo’s future in international future has become uncertain, following his departure from the team’s training camp in Copenhagen ahead of the UEFA Nations League clash with Denmark.

His exit comes after a clash with head coach Jorge Jesus over playing time.
