Moyo Lawal slams troll who called her an ‘industry whore’

By Benjamin Njoku

Nollywood actress Moyo Lawal, known for turning heads with her sexy body, recently fired back at a critic who shamed her for refusing to retire from the entertainment industry and allow upcoming actresses to take the spotlight.

In a post on X, the critic, @guzu_P, called Moyo an “industry whore” who has passed her prime, yet has refused to retire and give room to upcoming ones.”u

Angered by the comment, the actress hit back, accusing the critic of being upset because of her amazing looks and her decision to dump a man whose “feeble brain could not stand losing her,” despite several attempts he made to destroy her.

In her response, she wrote: “Your reason for typing this nonsense is because I look amazing. It’s also because I left a man whose feeble brain could not stand losing me and tried to destroy me at a time?

“Industry? Uncle, I came from TV, my first job was with a married couple. My jobs after that were obtained through mass auditioning and I mainly worked with female producers… me and sleeping around has absolutely nothing in common.

“So, a sexy woman who is not married is automatically sleeping around? lol ask about me.

“I am positive, I have not even had as many partners as your current partner whatever age the person may be.”

In another post, Moyo Lawal explained that in most cases she usually ignores such rants, but this time she couldn’t look away, citing the sweat, blood and tears she has put into growing her career without having a love life. The actress has continued to push back against online attacks and attempts to shame her over her sexual and private life.
