MUNYONYO, KAMPALA — Munyonyo is set to usher in a new chapter in Kampala’s entertainment scene as Urban Empire prepares to officially open Muziki Garage and Beta Hub Restaurant on September 15, 2026.
The new entertainment and lifestyle hub is expected to bring together musicians, live bands, comedians, artists, socialites, content creators and entertainment enthusiasts, creating a new platform for Uganda’s vibrant creative community.
The grand opening is expected to attract a cross-section of Uganda’s entertainment and social scene, with organisers promising a programme featuring live music, comedy and performances.
The project has attracted support from a number of organisations and brands, including the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development, Aquafina, SM Investments, Land Management Centre, Operation Wealth Creation and the Federation of Uganda Social Media Influencers.
Kubeera Motors and Kalungi Motors have also supported the upcoming launch.
The organisers say the initiative is designed not only as an entertainment venue but also as a platform where members of Uganda’s creative industry can connect, showcase their talent and build new opportunities.
The opening will mark the beginning of a programme expected to make Tuesdays a regular entertainment night, with live bands, music, comedy and other creative performances taking centre stage.
Speaking about the project, the promoter said the initiative was inspired by a desire to give back to the community after marking a decade in the entertainment and social scene.
“After celebrating my ten years, it’s high time to give back to the people in Munyonyo. This is for all socialites and the entertainment family in Africa,” he said.
The event is being organised by Socialite Club, popularly known as the “home of socialites” in Uganda, which has been coordinating preparations for the launch.
With Munyonyo increasingly emerging as one of Kampala’s major lifestyle and entertainment destinations, the opening of Muziki Garage and Beta Hub Restaurant is expected to add another major attraction to the area’s growing hospitality and nightlife scene.
Organisers say the September 15 launch will set the tone for a new entertainment experience built around music, comedy, creativity, networking and social culture.
Muziki Garage and Beta Hub Restaurant will officially open their doors on September 15, 2026.
