The Nigerian Navy has announced the commencement of its 2026 recruitment exercise for Batch 39 of the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School.
According to the Navy, the recruitment exercise will run from October 2 to 31, 2026, with online registration and all other recruitment processes free of charge.
The Navy, in a recruitment notice signed by the Navy Secretary, urged interested and qualified Nigerians to apply through its official recruitment portal.
It warned applicants against making payments to anyone in connection with the exercise and stated that only one valid application would be accepted, while multiple applications would lead to disqualification.
The Navy further warned that all applicants must be proficient in English Language, noting that inability to communicate in basic English could lead to disqualification at any stage of the recruitment process.
Successful candidates will undergo basic military training and, upon completion and be recruited into the Nigerian Navy as Ordinary Seamen.
