National Water and Electricity Company (NAWEC) has announced that the attacks on its facilities have caused severe damage to the Latrikunda, Serekunda and London Corner branches, rendering them temporarily closed.
The company said extent of the damage to the buildings, infrastructure, and office equipment has rendered the branches unsuitable for the provision of services.
“Consequently, the Latrikunda and London Corner branches will remain closed until further notice, and customers who ordinarily access services at these branches are kindly advised to use other operational Nawec branches and available service channels in the meantime,” the statement said.
