Government Communications Team Member, Dr Sammy Ayeh, has defended the National Democratic Congress rsquo; contribution to the development of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS). He said the NDC played a significant role in expanding the scheme beyond its original district-level limitations during the administration of former President John Dramani Mahama.
