Queen M aacute;xima of the Netherlands has paid a visit to Kumasi in the Ashanti Region to participate in the sacred Awukudae festival hosted by the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. The visiting monarch was received at the Prempeh I International Airport by Nana Kwame Baffoe, the Paramount Chief of Nkoranza, who is traditionally regarded as the eldest son of the Asantehene.
