New GFF president Kemo Ceesay takes office today

The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) yesterday announced that the official handing over and transition of leadership from outgoing president Lamin Kaba Bajo to president-elect Kemo Ceesay, will take place today, Thursday, 3rd September, at 10:00 AM at the Football House in Kanifing.

This formal ceremony follows the successful conduct of the GFF Elective Congress on Saturday, where Ceesay was elected to lead the country’s football governing body for the upcoming four-year term.

The ceremony will witness the official transfer of administrative authority, key instruments of office, and institutional documentation.

For members of the public and football stakeholders unable to attend in person, the proceedings will be broadcast live on the official Gambia Football Federation. Facebook Page.
