Nigeria will take on Madagascar as they begin their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifiers on Friday evening.
The game is billed for the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
It will kick off at 5pm local time.
The Super Eagles have won the AFCON title three times in the past and are on a quest to add a fourth at the tournament that will be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
Group L will be a tricky affair for Eric Chelle’s men as Tanzania have automatically qualified, meaning only one other team will get the ticket.
