Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo will start in attack as the European side takes on Nigeria in their international friendly clash, while Alex Iwobi and Akor Adams headline the Super Eagles’ starting lineup.

Portugal manager has named a strong side led by Ronaldo, with Bruno Fernandes, Vitinha and João Neves featuring in midfield. Pedro Neto and Trincão will provide support in attack.

Diogo Costa starts in goal for Portugal, with Diogo Dalot, Rúben Dias, Gonçalo Inácio and Nélson Semedo forming the defensive line.

For Nigeria, goalkeeper Maduka Okoye starts between the posts, while Semi Ajayi and Calvin Bassey anchor the defence alongside Akpan and Bruno Onyemaechi.

The midfield trio consists of Wilfred Ndidi, Alex Iwobi and Tom Dele-Bashiru, with Nnadi also included in the starting side.

Up front, Akor Adams partners Moses Simon as Nigeria seek a positive result against the Portuguese.
