NLO lays down rules to clubs ahead cup competition

Daily Post about 1 hour 1 mins read

The Nationwide League One, NLO, has directed all clubs participating in its cup competition to ensure adequate security and proper preparation at their home grounds.

The directive also mandated clubs to prominently display pitch panels featuring club names, partners and sponsors ahead of matches.

According to the statement, the NLO, stressed the need for effective security arrangements and maintenance of facilities to guarantee smooth hosting of games.

Clubs were instructed to ensure their playing surfaces, dressing rooms and other ancillary facilities are in good condition and fully ready for match-day operations.

The NLO further urged clubs to maximise commercial opportunities offered by pitch-side branding to boost sponsor visibility and attract potential investors.

The cup organisers emphasised that strict compliance is mandatory, warning that defaulting clubs will face sanctions as determined by the Competition Organising Committee.

The NLO Cup is scheduled to start on Saturday October, 17, 2026.
