Daily Post about 3 hours 1 mins read

The 2026/27 Nigeria National League, NNL, season will kick off on Saturday, October 31, DAILY POST reports.

The commencement date was ratified at the league’s Annual General Meeting, AGM, held in Owerri on Friday.

Clubs competing in the new season have been divided into four conferences — Southern Conference A and B, and Northern Conference A and B.

The top team from each conference will secure promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

The four promoted teams will also compete in a mini-tournament to determine the overall NNL champions for the season.

Sporting Lagos, Inter Lagos, Doma United and Ranchers Bees secured promotion from the NNL to the NPFL at the end of last season.
