NNL: Gombe United appoint Abdul-Azeez as new technical adviser

Daily Post about 1 hour 1 mins read

Gombe United have announced the appointment of Muniru Abdul-Azeez as their new technical adviser.

Abdul-Azeez has already been unveiled by his new employers.

DAILY POST recalls that the Savannah Scorpion had initially agreed on the appointment of Eddy Dombraye as the technical adviser before backing out of the agreement in favour of the new tactician.

Abdul-Azeez comes into the role with a wealth of experience, proven leadership, and an impressive record of success across Nigeria’s domestic football landscape.

The gaffer, who has previously managed El-kanemi Warriors was an integral member of the technical crew that helped the club’s secure promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, in 2012 and also won the President Federation Cup in 2024.

Abdul-Azeez’s recent appointment was with DMD FC. He guided the team to promotion from the Nationwide League One, NLO, to the Nigeria National League, NNL, in the 2025/26 season.
