NNL: Wikki Tourists get new management team for 2026-27 season

Alhaji Haruna Bako has been appointed the interim sole administrator of Nigeria National League, NNL, side Wikki Tourists.

Bako’s appointment was confirmed by the Bauchi State government on Thursday.

He replaced Salmanu Abubakar who was sacked following the team’s relegation last season.

Bako is expected to resume duties with immediate effect.

The state government stated that the decision was reached in other to restore public confidence in the management of the club, and lay a solid foundation for its immediate return to the elite division of Nigerian football.

Wikki Tourist are currently gearing up for the NNL 2026-27 season under the guidance of new technical adviser Bala Abubakar.
