NPFL: Abia Warriors adopt Enyimba Stadium home ground for 2026/27 season

Daily Post about 4 hours 1 mins read

Abia Warriors will play their home matches in the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba, DAILY POST reports.

The Umuneke-based club settled for the ground due to the ongoing renovation work at their home venue, Umuahia Township Stadium.

Imama Amapakabo’s side will relocate to Aba in the coming days for a closed-door camping exercise ahead of the new season.

Abia Warriors endured a disappointing outing last term, crashing out of the CAF Confederation Cup in the preliminary round and failing to secure a place on the continent.

The Umuahia club finished the campaign in seventh position on the NPFL table after initially harbouring hopes of a possible top-three finish.

They will face Kun Khalifat FC in their opening fixture of the season on Sunday, August 30.
