Sporting Lagos have confirmed the departure of striker Alex Leme from the club, DAILY POST reports.
Leme left the Sporting Lagos after only one season at the club.
The striker helped the modest club secure promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
Leme netted the goal that confirmed Sporting Lagos promotion to the top-flight last season.
Sporting Lagos are expected to shop for attacking option to replace the player.
They will open their campaign with a clash against Doma United at the Pantami Stadium on Sunday.
