Bendel Insurance assistant coach, Jolomi Atune, has accepted in good faith his team’s loss to Ranchers Bees.
The Benin Arsenals suffered a 2-1 defeat to Ranchers Bees in a Matchday 4 encounter at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano, last weekend.
Zulkifilu Mohammad and Jude Okorie scored for the Bees, while Gabriel Lekan was on target for Bendel Insurance.
Atune insisted that his team will come good after the defeat.
“All is well. The result wasn’t favourable. You win some and draw some, that’s the game,” Atune told Eagles Sports Radio.
“The game wasn’t bad. Both teams did their best. That’s football, one side must win. No regrets with the result. The journey is still far, it’s a marathon.”
He admitted that the goals conceded were due to a loss of concentration.
“I will say the goals conceded were due to loss of concentration, but we will get it right, as this team is a work in progress,” Atune said.
Bendel Insurance will face Ikorodu City in their next game on Wednesday.
