Doma United have apologised to the club’s supporters following the 4-1 defeat to Kano Pillars in a matchday four fixture at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano last weekend.
The Savannah Tigers tendered the apology in a statement signed by the Sporting Director Makinde Akin Maxwell on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the club acknowledged that the performance did not meet the standard supporters deserve.
The defeat ended Doma United’s three-game unbeaten run to the season.
Doma United promised to bounce back in their next match against Plateau United.
The statement reads “On behalf of the Management, Technical Crew & the entire staff of Doma United FC, I will like to sincerely apologise to our fans especially those that made it to Kano, for our Week 4 defeat against Pillars,”
“We acknowledge the result did not meet the standard our supporters deserve, and we take full responsibility.
“We promise to bounce back stronger when we host Plateau United.”
