Rivers United technical adviser, Finidi George, believed that the goalless draw against Ranchers Bees was a good result for both teams.
The Pride of Rivers and the Bees failed to convert their chances in the Matchday Six encounter.
Finidi said his team should have done better in the first half of the encounter.
He insisted that they would build on the performance ahead of their subsequent matches.
“It was a good game. At the end, we didn’t lose,” Finidi told Nigerian Players Gallery.
“We both had our chances. If you want to look at the game, the draw isn’t bad. We didn’t see a lot of glaring chances, but we could see some from Ranchers Bees.
“Overall, it’s not a bad game. In the first half, we should have done better as we passed the ball a little short.
“We will see how to move from here in our next game against Katsina United.”
