NPFL: Kwara United will be ready for new season – Suleiman

Daily Post about 3 hours 1 mins read

Kwara United technical adviser, Ashifat Suleiman, has assured the club’s faithful that they will assemble a competitive squad for the 2026–27 season.

Suleiman gave the assurance after his team thrashed Kwara Academy 6-0 in a warm-up match on Saturday.

He said the friendly encounter is aimed at shaping the team for the new season.

“We are intensifying our preparations. That is why we are at home now for everybody to see what we are bringing to Kwara United,” Suleiman told the club’s media.

“We are trying to rebuild, and when you are rebuilding, you have to bring in players and test their abilities.”

Kwara United managed to avoid relegation last season.
