NPFL: Ogunmodede bids farewell to Remo Stars

Daniel Ogunmodede, has announced his departure from Remo Stars after over a decade, DAILY POST reports.

Ogunmodede described his time with the Sky Blue Stars as a defining chapter of his life.

He expressed gratitude to the supporters, management, players and staff for their role in his journey.

“What started as an opportunity became a family, a purpose, and one of the defining chapters of my life,” Ogunmodede wrote in his farewell message to the club.

“Together, we built, we believed, we struggled, we learned, and ultimately, we made history.

Ogunmodede guided the Ikenne-based club to win their first Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, title two years ago.

He pointed that the NPFL title triumph as his career highlight. 

“That moment will forever remain one of the proudest memories of my career, not because of the trophy alone, but because of everything it represented. 

“It was the reward for years of sacrifice, resilience, faith, and hard work.”
