Rangers have celebrated forward Godwin Obaje for scoring his 100th goal in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

Obaje reached the milestone after scoring the decisive goal in Rangers’ 1-0 victory away to Warri Wolves in Ozoro on Wednesday.

“100 NPFL goals for Godwin Obaje!

History made in Delta State. Godwin Obaje’s winning penalty marks his 100th goal in the Nigerian Premier Football League!

A legendary milestone for a top marksman,” Rangers wrote on X.

The experienced striker started his career with Wikki Tourists in 2014 and also played for defunct Ifeanyi Ubah FC, Plateau United and Abia Warriors.

Obaje was the top scorer in the 2016 Nigeria Professional Football League, with 18 goals.
