Shooting Stars assistant coach, Ali Kandil, says his side should have secured victory after being held to a draw by Ikorodu City.
The Oluyole Warriors battled to a 2-2 draw with Ikorodu City at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos, in a matchday 10 fixture last weekend.
Taofeek Otaniyi and Desmond Ojietefian gave Shooting Stars a 2-0 lead.
Ikorodu City rallied to earn a share of the points, with Donald Obiajulu scoring twice for the hosts.
Kandil said his team missed chances to take maximum points in the game.
"That's football if you have few chances and you don't take them, then you will regret it at the end of the day," Kandil reacted in a chat with Sporting Theory.
"We should have been three or four goals up in the first half, but that's football. We had to adjust to some injuries. It's an away point, and we have to take that."
