Large turn out of voters were observed in some polling units in Osogbo, the Osun State capital on Saturday.

This development is coming up as eligible voters cast their votes in the 2026 Osun State governorship election.

The frontline candidates include: Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Najeem Salaam of the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
